Beech Tree Farm Plants has been exhibiting at the flower shows for many years as Topiary by Design. Our first ever exhibit was at the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show in 1998 where we were awarded a very pleasing Silver Gilt medal. Since our debut at Harrogate in 1998 we have attended many shows achieving silver, silver gilt, gold and premier awards. Most notably though we achieved the award for the best exhibit in the plant plaza at Tatton Park in 2000 and the best floral marquee exhibitor new to the show at both Gardeners World Live and Malvern Spring Show in 2003.
Over the years we have staged many exhibits in the floral marquee at the different shows, but have since moved from the marquee into the plant village's. We find this a positive way of displaying our plants as well as achieving us more space in which to sell our larger topiary specimens. In 2014 we gained the award for the most creative exhibit in the plant village at the Malvern Spring Show, but missed it by a whisper at Gardener's World Live and Tatton Park where we achieved the 2nd prize in the plant village. An accolade in itself but with aspiration in 2015 to try and gain the first prize!
This year, 2019 we will be attending the following shows and fairs:
- Harrogate Spring Flower Show: 25th - 28th April 2019
- RHS Malvern Spring Festival: 9th - 12th May 2019
- RHS Chatsworth Flower Show: 5th - 9th June 2019
- BBC Gardener's World Live: 13th - 16th June 2019
- RHS Flower Show Harlow Carr: 21st June - 23rd June 2019
- RHS Flower Show Tatton Park: 17th July - 21st July 2019
The best place to view and buy our plants and accessories is at the shows listed above. We will always have the best selection to choose from as well as offering the most favourable prices. Coming to the shows also gives the opportunity to meet with us and discuss and view the plants, as well as being able for us to offer advice and help where necessary. If this is not an option then please contact us directly and we will try and arrange a convenient time for an appointment, though this can be sometimes tricky as we are 'on the road' for much of the summer!
